Anjem Choudary’s associate at Speakers Corner

Two years ago a moderate and friendly Muslim of Speakers Corner confided in me privately that he believed a certain other regular Muslim attendee at the Corner was of serious concern and involved in some very unpleasant and dangerous Islamist networks. I was assured that he had passed these concerns on to the Police. This confirmed my general concern that Speakers Corner has in the past, and continues to this day, to be a place where some very dangerous Islamist networks gather, recruit and spread their messages of hate. As my confident assured me the police were aware, I did not take the matter any further. Besides, I had no specific evidence of his behaviour or associations, I didn’t even know his name. All I knew was that the concerns were in regard to this man:

The man continued to be a regular attendee at Speakers Corner. However, not only was he a regular attendee at the Corner, he has in recent years been one of the main cameramen of the Dawah channels at the Corner. He carries round a large tripod for the filming equipment and has bluetooth microphones that he clips onto the main Sunni Muslim speakers including Adnan Rashid, Hashim and Mansur. He typically arrives and leaves with these people, associates with them throughout the day and is one of their main cameramen.
