Speakers Corner “Dole Queue Jihadi”
After a trial at the Old Bailey that lasted over a year, Mohammed Abdul Ahad was finally sentenced at 2pm on Wednesday 12 February 2020.
Mohammed Ahad, 38 of Euston, London, and Speakers Corner regular, was on 10 December 2019 found guilty under the Terrorism Act of four charges of disseminating terrorist material and one of possessing articles useful for terrorism.
Ahad was a follower of the ‘Sheikh of Hate’ Abdullah el-Faisal and ran an extremist website called Authentic Tauheed on behalf of el-Faisal, transcribing, publishing and distributing his hate speeches and daily newsletter emails.
El-Faisal, a friend of the Hook, Abu Hamza, inspired terrorists including the London Bridge terrorist Usman Khan, 9/11 plotter Zacarias Moussaoui, ‘shoe bomber’ Richard Reid and Sudesh Amman, who was shot dead on 2 February 2020 after stabbing two people in Streatham. His speeches included ‘Jihad, declaration of war’, encouraged 12-year-olds to make IEDs (improvised explosive devices), praised ISIS and incited followers to wage war against the kaffir (non-believers). One rant stated: ‘Even today in modern times you should cut the throat of the kaffir with a machete.’
